Team Comes Together For First Exhibition Game
With a couple tryouts under their belt, the new team was chosen by the coaching staff and wasted no time getting down to business. They faced of against the Ancaster Avalanche and came out hard from the start. The checking on both sides was somewhat interesting in the first period but the game took shape for the two teams early into the second period. The Huskies pushed the Av's hard and came away with a much deserved hard won, 5-0 game. This team has seen multiple changes this season, a new head coach and a few players joining from the Huskies Red(Provincial Champs).The team moves to their second exhibition game of the preseason on Tuesday night against the Stoney Creek Warriors.
