The following are our Try-out times:
Wednesday May 6th 7:30pm, Chedoke Arena (Green)
Friday May 8th 7:00pm, Chedoke Arena (Blue)
Monday May 11th 8:30pm Chedoke Arena (Green)
After starting the season with some new blood on both the team and staff, Peewee White found their groove quickly. The addition of Coach Fraser shored up the defense and goalie coaching, which showed quickly when the Huskies hit the ice. The team worked hard to earn the rights to the phenomenal season they had. The players pushed at every practice, worked hard on the ice at games and foremost honored the value of teamwork that results in success. All this saw them near the top of tier 1 for the entire season. They went into playoffs and play downs in that position, finishing second and qualifying for Alliance, where they advanced to the semi finals.
Coach Fraser has taken on the lead role with the Minor Bantam White team and will continue on with the direction the team has been going in. Coach Fraser believes that hard work and team play are the keys to success and his coaching philosophies always keep this in focus, be it in practice or games.
Fraser has selected returning coach Robert Ban and Rennie Biggs to assist this season.
With changes at AAA/AA there are a couple openings on our team for players that want to come to the ice to work hard, and learn the hockey fundamentals as they should be taught. Coach Fraser is looking for players with a strong desire to learn and play hard as a team.
