HOCKEY CANADA REGISTRY 3.0 (HCR 3.0)
About the Hockey Canada Registry
Working alongside Spordle Inc., Hockey Canada is replacing the existing Hockey Canada Registry (HCR) platform – commonly referred to as HCR 2.0 – with a new, improved platform in advance of the 2021-22 hockey season. The new platform, named HCR 3.0, becomes the universal platform for managing all Hockey Canada participant registration effective June 1, 2021, immediately replacing HCR 2.0, HCR Online Registration and eHockey. Built to deliver an improved and streamlined end-user experience for families and registrars alike, the platform will support the 2,800+ local hockey associations and over 730,000 participants involved in Hockey Canada-sanctioned programs on an annual basis.

It's important that a family have a "My Account" to give them access to their personal information and the ability to edit / update this information. As well you will have the ability and the convenience to acknowledge any Waivers required by your local association or it's governing partners. (Rowan's Law as an example)
These Waivers are a requirement to complete a player's registration within the HCR and without these Waivers a player will not be eligible to be added to a team's Hockey Canada Approved Roster.
Unfortunately, this is not an option. As complicated as this may seem, remember, it does put you in control of your information and the completion of any required Waiver's.
Hopefully the information below will be of assistance as you create or locate an existing "My Account".
Participant (Parent) means that when creating a "My Account" and you see the word Participant it is referring to you the Parent as you proceed to create the account. Once created you can add Participants (Players) to your account.
We invite you to read the following tutorials although all are not totally necessary at this time. "My Account" is the important link.
- Register to play
- At this time the Hamilton Huskies are not using the HCR to register players. Each player does have a profile in the HCR that the Registrar utilizes to add each player to a current season's approved roster.
- Register for clinic
- Registration for coaching clinics is now administered through the HCR. If someone in your family has registered for a clinic this person may already have a My Account which they could then add Participants (any players in your family that play under the Hockey Canada umbrella)
- My Account
- This is the link that will support you in creating your "My Account" from scratch and how to navigate the "Dashboard" and features of the account to complete the requirements mentioned above. The information below is what you will see when you utilize this "My Account" link.
My Account will be your gateway into the HCR3.0 platform - giving you a single sign-on for all your sports management.
As a parent or team staff you will be able to link family members to your account, access registration information, update your information, add documents, view qualifications, access links to courses, print receipts, view payment schedules and update / pay for registrations.
For information on each of the My Account menu options, click the links below and any relevant links found within each of these pages.
