13 MD Minor Bantam White, BB - B, 2015-2016, BB/B (Hamilton Huskies)

The Minor Bantam White MD team attended its second tournament in as many weekends. This was a battle to the very end, losing the championship in shoot out after four overtime rounds and three shoot out battles.

This weekend saw the hard work and determination at practice pay off for the team, going undefeated in the tournament and walking away with the Harvest Cup title. This season saw a change of line up that welcomed six new players to the ranks, several from the past season victorious Huskies Peewee Red that captured the provincial title in Tier 2 last season. 

With a couple tryouts under their belt, the new team was chosen by the coaching staff and wasted no time getting down to business. They faced of against the Ancaster Avalanche and came out hard from the start. The checking on both sides was somewhat interesting in the first period but the game took shape for the two teams early into the second period. The Huskies pushed the Av's hard and came away with a much deserved hard won, 5-0 game.
