Despite a tough series loss last weekend in a fifth
and deciding game,
the Huskies confront Chatham-Kent in the next playoff round starting tomorrow, with the winner claiming the Consolation Championship.
In a character-building season, Hamilton aims to defy the odds against an opponent who has taken all three close meetings this year. With their “no-give-up” attitude, the key will be to take the early lead, maintain energy, focus and discipline, and not let the momentum shift as the clock expires.
Come out and support your Huskies at home on possibly the next three Sundays! The scoreboard soon fades, while the memories of fan support are everlasting…
“Odds and rankings don’t matter. Being an underdog is a theory of fighting, not one of math or numbers. Just believe in yourselves, don’t leave anything to chance, and go out there and make it happen.”
Go Huskies!!
