Cambridge COVID Protocols Information
Please review the Cambridge COVID Protocols prior to departing to our season opener, this weekend.
The City of Cambridge has provided some clarity on the rules for Arenas for this Season.
Please note that access to the building will be 15 minutes before the meeting time. Once the on ice session is complete, everyone must exit the building within 15 minutes. There is no access to showers. Masks must be worn in the dressing room while getting equipment on. Under the current Step 3 of the provincial framework, there is no limitation on who can be a spectator. i.e. siblings, family members, friends etc. are permitted to enter an arena. Each facility is capped at 50% capacity per the regulations. We do not anticipate reaching the capacity limit at this point in the season but are keeping an eye on this and may need to adjust as necessary.
Anyone entering the facility will need to complete the online screening tool at: www.cambridge.ca/screening.
After they complete the screening they will receive a THANK YOU message. (assuming they’re permitted to enter) Save the image as a screenshot (or provide the email address during the screening process) and upon arrival at the facility show staff the confirmation. Staff will confirm and then allow them entry. If screening for more than one family member e.g. children, please be sure to take a screenshot and save as this will be needed for each individual. If an individual forgot to complete the screening or does not have access to an electronic device, staff will support them with the screening at the door using the available tablet.
Any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to ask.
Go Huskies!!!
