Volunteers from the 10 MD Red Major Atom hockey team decided to do their part to keep their community clean this week.

Volunteers from a local hockey team decided to do their part to keep their community clean this week. This past Tuesday evening, the kids from the Hamilton Huskies Major Atom MD Red team scoured the area by the Kenilworth Stairs and Escarpment Rail Trail for trash. Among the expected Tim Hortons cups and candy wrappers, the boys even found an old tire.
The team would like to thank the City of Hamilton's "Team Up to Clean Up" program for its help with organization. It was great for the kids to give back to their community and have fun.
