On the evening of January 31st, 2018, the
Minor Peewee AA/A and Major Bantam AA/A Huskies took a trip to the Armouries on James Street North and provided a collective $1,000 donation to the Argyll and Sutherland’s Poppy Program.
For the month of November, both Huskies teams paid tribute to Canada's war veterans by wearing "camo" jerseys. The Poppy Program allows donors to purchase a Poppy for $500 and dedicate it to one of the Regiment’s war-dead or other service-person who has died in the service of Canada, or to any member who has served or is currently serving.

With a little downtime last weekend, the Hamilton Huskies Minor PeeWee AA Hockey Club spent the day shopping for Christmas. The team partnered with a local women's shelter in the Husky community. The focus was on purchasing toys for children affected by domestic violence. This was an excellent opportunity for the team to learn about giving back to families in need during the holiday season. Thank you to the parents and players that took time out of their day to assist us with this opportunity. Great work everyone!

This weekend, the Hamilton Huskies Minor PeeWee AA took time out of their busy tournament weekend to honour our fallen heroes. Playing in the Stoney Creek Tournament of Champions provided an opportunity to walk the grounds of the Battefield Park in Stoney Creek.
