8 MD Major Novice Blue, BB / B, 2016-2017, BB / B (Hamilton Huskies)

The Hamilton Huskies Novice Blue team participated in the Silver Stick International Finals in Michigan. The teams participating were the Champions of their respective Silver Stick regional tournaments across Ontario. So going into the tournament, we knew we were going to face some tough competition. Through the Round robin the team played tough and would advance to the Semi finals.  The Semi finals versus Strathroy was an exciting game with it going into overtime. On Dec. 19th the Novice Blue team ushered in the Holidays with some Christmas cheer and bowling.  Fun was had by all and the night was not complete until Santa made an appearance. Santa brought all the boys some great Huskies swag.

This Past week-end the Hamilton Huskies Novice Blue team participated in the Justin williams Cup tournament. The action began on Friday against the Richmond Hill Stars, the team started off quick and never looked back as they would eventually meet Peterborough in the finals and take the championship. Together they laid the foundation to build on for the rest of the season.
