05-Minor Peewee Tryout Invitation
I would
like to extend this tryout invitation to all 2005 competitive ice hockey
players. Tryouts commence on April 12th 2016 and the evaluation
process will focus on individual skills, attitude, focus, discipline, team
play, and coach ability. Players selected for Hamilton Huskies Minor Peewee AAA team can
expect a significant commitment requirement, and they are expected to make
hockey their main priority outside of health, family and school. The focus will
be on developing young leaders both on and off the ice with a commitment to
hard work, being a “team-first player” in a positive, structured, competitive
environment. It is expected that each player come well -prepared to the tryout
sessions and be well-informed of the commitment level that is required at this
level.
Our team will tentatively participate in the following (4) tournaments this coming season:
1. November - Wally Beavis Memorial Tournament (Peterborough)
2. December -Jr. Bulldogs (Hamilton)
3. December - Richard Bell Memorial (Oakville)
4. January - Festival of Lights Peewee (Niagara Falls)
Three practices a week.
1. Technical Skills, Individual Tactics & Team Tactics
2. Small Area Training
3. Team Play Systems
10 000 Pucks, Dryland, Video & “Chalk Talks”.

I am excited to be working with the Minor Peewee AAA 2005 players this season in an effort to develop our future elite players in the Hamilton area, and I look forward to the upcoming season.
