01 MD Minor Bantam White(13), BB - B, 2014-2015, BB/B (Hamilton Huskies)

This April 10th weekend in St Catharines brings a close on what was a tremendous season, and to top it off, the boys played with the best teams from Alliance East and West and were crowned CHAMPIONS of Tier 1 Minor Bantam MD! No matter what adversity the team was faced with throughout the season, the boys found a way to rise to the occasion and get the job done! Way to go boys, a very impressive TEAM WINNING YEAR! With the massive snow storm on its way, the Minor Bantam Huskies White MD  in it's second Tournament Championship of this month played against a rejuvenated Waterloo Wolves team that had tied us in game #1. They came out strong and as always their goaltending was excellent! The boys kept chipping away, playing hard until the flood gates opened scoring 3 quick goals and never looked back. What a great way to end the month and into Tier 1 playoffs! Great job boys!!!

This past weekend, the Minor Bantam Huskies White MD team played in the Aurora Bantam Rep Tournament. It was a very challenging tournament having 2-3 players short every game due to vacation, sickness, injury, weather, etc..add to that a 3 on 3 tournament within the tournament...but the boys worked as a TEAM, kept pushing as hard as they could and prevailed over some very good, fast, skilled teams! Way to go Boys!
