Rationale For Using Player Tryout List Code Numbers
> Impersonal – emotions aren’t part of the message
> Private – players learn of the good news / bad news surrounded only by their support group rather than their peers
> Convenience – players don’t have to stand in long lines after their tryout session
> Better Decisions – coaches / evaluators can use additional time after each session to more carefully select / release players
> Risk Management – coaches may not be trained on what can / can not be said when a player is cut (released)
All players will have received a card with their unique 5 digit Tryout Code Number when signing in to their first tryout session to get their coloured tryout pinnie.
If your Code Number appears below on this Tryout List you have either been selected to the team or are still being considered for a roster spot and are expected to attend the next tryout session.
If your Code Number DOES NOT appear on the Tryout List then you have been cut (released) from the team and you must not attend any further tryout sessions.
PLEASE CHECK THE “LAST UPDATED” INFORMATION IN THE BOTTOM LEFT CORNER OF THIS TRYOUT LIST TO MAKE SURE THAT THE LIST WAS UPDATED FOLLOWING THE LATEST TRYOUT.
