Huskies Deny Panthers
As they caravanned across the long stretch of highway from Windsor to Stratford today, the Huskies added two points to their semi-final tally after hanging on to a tight lead in the second of only two games against the Panthers. While this result leaves Sun-County out of contention for the finals, Hamilton has their work cut out for them in the upcoming two-games series against Huron-Perth, whose regular season record favours them. It goes without saying that the Huskies must lay it all on the line against a team who has so far doubled them in head -to-head scoring and whose goal percentage in the round robin series has them at a slight advantage. Hamilton, armed with hope, faith and proven perseverance, nonetheless looks forward to a new challenge tomorrow as they put together their best strategies to face a challenge that could possibly determine their playoff fate.
