Milan Bobic and Anthony Piccolo, Huskies Minor Midget AA White, were chosen 1st and 2nd Stars respectively in their semi-final game at a new and interesting event hosted in the GTHL for 24 players that were considered to be "under the radar" and playing AA hockey.

They were looking for 24 players from around Ontario that were under the radar, 15 to 17 year olds, meaning not at the AAA level. They were looking for hard working AA players to give them an opportunity to get some exposure. They also did research on the boys looking for the right kind of attitude by checking the players social media accounts to make sure they were not negative kids.
Milan and Anthony were scouted and invited to participate.
Nike kept the event secret not telling anybody what was going on. They took an old abandoned building and built a rink inside for this event. They had Matt Nicole lead the boys in dryland training and then they played a 3 on 3 tournament.
Milans team lost in the semifinals in overtime but he was still selected 1st Star receiving his award from former NHL Star Chris Pronger. Anthony continued the proud representation of the Huskies as he was selected as the 2nd Star.
Cabbie and Darren Dutcheysen from TSN as well as Chris Pronger and Gary Roberts were in attendance.
Nike provided all the the boys with well over $1000 dollars of clothing, shoes, jackets etc.
It was quite a day for the players as they were even bussed into the event on a private coach.
TSN being a big part of the day had their video camers on the boys the whole time.
