Saturday at
Parkdale, Pat Quinn Arena, players, coaches, fans, and families alike were
asked to stand for a moment of silence followed by the playing of O Canada to
honor our fallen soldiers. A Canadian flag was displayed for all to sign
and after every game both teams got together for a team picture holding the
flag and showing unity and sportsmanship.
Our Hamilton Huskies teams are also wearing their pink
to bring breast cancer awareness in the month of October, even the referees are
wearing the pink
