Midget AAA Program
Submitted By admin on Thursday, February 20, 2014
The Hamilton Huskies Hockey Club is placing Midget AAA hockey under review for the 2014-15 season. During the review period the Hamilton Huskies will not operate a Major Midget AAA Team.

As an organization we are forming a committee to examine if we have the capacity to run a Midget AAA program that meets expectations and falls within ALLIANCE Hockey’s vision for Midget AAA hockey. In order to run a successful Midget program and prepare players for the junior levels a number of items need to be addressed.

Corporate sponsorship would be an essential part of rebuilding the program. Our hope is that the business community will help endorse this program and provide the financial stability required to run a true Midget AAA program and properly showcase our 16 and 17 year old players.

We will also be approaching the City of Hamilton to begin discussions on our vision for our Midget AAA program and the possibility of providing our Midget AAA with a permanent dressing room.

These are just two items on a long list that need to be addressed and resolved moving forward.

The Hamilton Huskies will be entering one Midget AA team and two Midget MD teams for the 2014-15 season into ALLIANCE play.
