The Hamilton Huskies are a
MentorAction Ally mentoring a new generation to end Gender-Based Violence. We have been invited to participate during the month of February and on February 8th, Wear Purple Day.
Some of the things that teams could do to show their support on Wear Purple Day and throughout the month are:
- Wearing purple laces during a home game
- Wearing purple ties/shirts before the game
- Teams / players could film some PSAs for social media about why you’re participating in GBV Prevention Month during February to encourage folks to do the same – to raise awareness about and commit to action around ending gender-based violence.
- Promote Wear Purple Day among friends and family
