After a three-year Pilot-Project, the Shared Boundary Pilot between the Hamilton Huskies and Stoney Creek Minor Hockey Association concluded effective the 2022-23 season.
Accordingly, there have been some resulting questions which are addressed below:

SUBJECT: CONCLUSION COMPLETION OF THE HAMILTON HUSKIES / STONEY CREEK PILOT – RESULTING QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
After a three-year Pilot-Project, the Shared Boundary Pilot between the Hamilton Huskies and Stoney Creek Minor Hockey Association concluded effective the 2022-23 season.
Accordingly, there have been some resulting questions which are addressed below:
· There are no longer shared or open borders between the Hamilton Huskies and with Stoney Creek and there will be no player movement.
· Stoney Creek residents are eligible to attend tryouts with their home Association (Stoney Creek Minor Hockey Boundaries).
· Hamilton residents are eligible to attend tryouts with their home Association (Hamilton Huskie Boundaries).
· No new Special Dispensation requests will be entertained.
· If a Player who was approved to move through Special Dispensation for the 2022-23 season, may stay with their respective teams for 2023-24. If the Player leaves their current team, the player must return to their home Association for Representative programming. This applies to both Hamilton and Stoney Creek residents.
· A Stoney Creek resident Player who was approved to move through Special Dispensation to a Hamilton BB-B roster in 2022-23, who wishes to try-out AA team must do so in Stoney Creek. If released, the Player can return to Hamilton Huskies BB-B Team.
· A Stoney Creek resident Player who is released from their Hamilton Huskie team, either Seeded (AA-A) or BB-B must return to Stoney Creek if they wish to play Representative hockey and must follow residential regulations.
