The Hamilton Bulldogs Club and Bulldogs Foundation, in coordination with the City of Hamilton launched the "Hamilton Skate the Dream" Program last year at the Boys & Girls Club of Hamilton on Ellis Ave. The main purpose of the program is to break the barriers that prevent local children from learning to skate and play hockey. The Program is designed for kids between 6–10 yrs. of age who would not otherwise have the opportunity to participate. The Program will again run out of Eastwood Arena this year with continued generous donations of hockey equipment from the community and business. The volunteer pool has dwindled somewhat and new blood is needed.
