COVID-19 Update: Re-openings at the City of Hamilton
JANUARY 25 2022, HAMILTON, ON - Late last week, the province shared a three-step plan to gradually lift COVID-19 restrictions later this month based on key public health and health system indicators showing signs of stabilization. In alignment with the province and in the absence of concerning changes to our health care indicators or public health trends, the City of Hamilton is sharing its plan to reopen some municipal services, programming and facilities later this month. 


More information will be added to the City’s website in the coming days.

Arenas will reopen to permit holders beginning January 31, 2022.

Public programming will resume in a phased approach beginning on January 31, 2022.

Additional public health measures and capacity limits will be in place.

We will post Facility Entry Guidelines and any additional public health measures and capacity limits as soon as they are made available to us.
