The Ontario Hockey Federation is excited to announce player evaluation dates for Minor Hockey Associations for the 2022-23 hockey season.
With the recommendation from its Members, the OHF Directors have approved the following player evaluation dates:
• U7-U11 will continue to follow OHF Playing Regulation G3 & G4 and the nationally approved Canadian Player Pathways.
• U12 and U13 will be held in the fall, following Labour Day.
• U14-U16, U18 AA and below Categories, and U21 will be held in the spring, in accordance OHF Playing Regulation G2, G5 and applicable LOR Playing Regulations. The first day for spring evaluations will be April 25, 2022.
• U18 AAA will be held in accordance with OHF Playing Regulation K.
Further information pertaining to seasonal structure (prep phase, tryout phase, development phase, playoffs, tournament start dates) as well as specific Playing Regulations will be identified and publicly released following the OHF Semi-Annual Meeting of Members, February 26, 2022.
