Facility Guidelines

Entry will not be allowed until your designated time.

Entry to all facilities, Chedoke, Rosedale, Mohawk 4 Ice or any other facility will be at their main doors. Chedoke will not be using the lower "side door" entrance.

Players should be staged with screening completed so as to enter the facility all at once as a group 15 minutes prior to their ice time. With this in mind players should be in the parking lot 30 minutes prior to their ice time to give the coaches time to screen the players.

Coaches will be required to use the Contact Tracing Sheets provided to screen the players and coaching staff.

The team will proceed to their designated set of 25 chairs to prepare for their ice session. Dressing rooms will not be utilized. Players must come dressed and may complete the process at their designated set of chairs depending on their age. Players using skate guards with their skates already on CAN NOT use the skate guards with ROLLER WHEELS as they will be navigating the arena using the stairs.

After the players and staff change into their skates and helmets, bags with all belongings will be left along the wall in the rinks or hallway. If you are on the GREEN rink there are benches along the wall so Leave your bags on the benches.  If you are on the RED rink leave your bags lined up along the wall of the long hallway.

Once you exit the ice grab your bags and change at the chairs.

Masks or face coverings must be worn where social distancing is not possible and while inside the facility. They may be taken off when going on the ice and must be put back on when off of the ice and exiting the building.

Players must bring their own personal water bottle preferably filled at home and they must not be shared.

Contact information for every participant will be shared with the Facility via the Contact Tracing Sheet as per Public Health requirements.

Under original guidelines Parent entry was to be the responsibility of the MHA, Minor Hockey Association, and the Huskies had decided to delay this however the City of Hamilton has altered this policy.

THE CITY HAS NOW DECIDED TO TAKE ON THE RESPONSIBILITY REGARDING PARENT ENTRY AND WILL PROVIDE A STAFF MEMBER AT THE MAIN POINT OF ENTRY FOR THIS PURPOSE.
FOLLOWING THE ENTRY OF YOUR PLAYER GROUP ONE PARENT PER PLAYER CAN GAIN ENTRY
PARENT MUST SIGN IN WITH CITY STAFF
PARENT MUST WEAR A MASK OR FACE COVERING AS PER CITY OF HAMILTON BY LAW
PARENT MUST OBSERVE SOCIAL DISTANCING WHILE ENTERING AND INSIDE THE FACILITY
PARENT WILL BE SHOWN THE DESIGNATED VIEWING AREA AND MUST CONTINUE TO SOCIAL DISTANCE
PARENT WILL EXIT THE FACILITY UPON THE COMPLETION OF THEIR CHILD'S ICE SESSION THE SAME WAY THEY ENTERED
