Minor Midget Red MD are East/Central Tier 2 Champions!

After stringing together an impressive Playoff round, The Huskies 15 MD Red team defeated Burlington in 2 straight games in the first round of playdowns, and then faced Hamilton White for the East/Central title. 

All games between the two teams this season were hard fought and close, and the playdowns were no different. Our determined squad managed two straight wins, with the last game needing overtime for the win. 

Congratulations on winning the East/Central Banner boys!  We are excited to compete in the Alliance Championships in London in 2 weeks.

Minor Midget Red MD are Tier 2 Alliance Champions!

After a great Playoff and Playdown stretch to our season, our Huskies 15 MD Red team went undefeated through the Alliance Championships in London, with a 1-1 Tie vs. Burlington, a 4-3 Win over Huskies White, and a 5-0 Win over North London in the Round Robin. 

This allowed us to get a bye to the Finals, again facing off with Burlington.  In true Huskies Red style, we had to battle through adversity in the final game, killing off a 5-minute penalty in the last minutes of regulation with the score tied 1-1. Both teams traded good chances to end it in Overtime, but our group of Huskies Red boys got the job done and claimed the title of Alliance Champions. 

Well done guys! We are proud of you. What a fantastic way to end the season, and we will always remember these moments. Coach Jay, Tom, Gerry, Darcy, and Al.
