Don Cameron, owner and director of Cameron Strength & Conditioning believes in lifelong healthy living and is committed to encouraging those around him to achieve this objective. His passion for health and performance, and his dedication to his clients set him apart from the competition. Never one to promise a quick fix, Cameron designs realistic plans for his clients, helping them to set and achieve their long-term goals.
Receiving a B.A. from McMaster University, Cameron went on to achieve a Master of Science in Education from Medaille College. While at Medaille, he completed an action research project on The Importance of Physical Activity and Good Nutrition. The project was created as a guide for parents and educators to help their families and students get engaged in a health-conscious lifestyle.
Cameron is a Personal Trainer Specialist through Can-Fit-Pro and his credentials include certification in:Sport Conditioning Coach – Twist Conditioning, BOSU – Twist Conditioning, CrossFit Level 1 – CrossFit,Developmental 1 and Speak Out – National Coach Certification Program, First Aid and C.P.R. (Level C) – Red Cross.
As a personal trainer and sport conditioning coach, he has enjoyed continual success helping his clients reach their health and performance goals. Many of his clients have gone on to play in the OHL, NCAA, AHL, and European leagues. With experience as a hockey and baseball coach, Cameron can motivate and guide clients through programs while keeping morale high, even during the toughest workouts. He creates individualized and versatile programs which are result-driven and goal-focused. Cameron’s passion for healthy living began with a long career in competitive sports. An avid athlete,
Cameron has also completed more than 30 races, including Tough Mudder, and he competes in CrossFit competitions. He practices what he preaches, aiming to live an active and healthy lifestyle each day. He truly strives to be better every day.
