Hamilton Huskies Hockey Club’s GM Mike Spadafora has announced that the Club has added Brendan Brooks to the Hockey Operations  side of the Hamilton Huskies.  “We are extremely excited to have a quality individual like Brendan join our group, his experience on both the professional and international stage will bring a great deal of value to our coaches and players both on and off the ice”

Brendan is a native of St. Catherines ON and has just recently concluded an outstanding professional hockey career!  With over 20 years of Pro hockey experience in the NHL and AHL.   Brendan has been part of the LA Kings, Detroit Red Wings and St. Louis Blues organizations! After moving to Europe to continue his career, Brendan spent 10 years in the top leagues with GET Ligaen Norway, DEL Germany, NLA Switzerland , EBEL Austria and EIHL UK.   Brooks also competed with Team Canada at the Spengler Cup in two occasions and is a two time IIHF gold medalist with Great Britain.

Brendan Brooks will make his Huskies debut at the upcoming Spring tryouts.  Moving into the season Brendan will lend his support to the 2006 and 2007 AAA age groups, as well as provide skill development at multiple age groups.
