The Hamilton Huskies established in 1971 is the original AAA Hockey Club in the City of Hamilton. The Hamilton Huskies is home to many of the best Minor Hockey players to have played the game in the City of Hamilton and the home to Hockey Hall of Famers Pat Quinn and Dave Andreychuk.  The Huskies are remembered by Wayne Gretzky as "Hamilton always had the biggest teams, and the toughest teams." "I played against Hamilton a lot … and I hated it."

The Hamilton Huskies play in ALLIANCE Hockey. Since being founded in 1993, the ALLIANCE has always positioned the organization as a leader in Canada in the administration and development of the game of hockey for all player and adult volunteer participants. As a result, the ALLIANCE offers a number of programs designed to enhance the performance, organization and safety of our participants. This innovative thinking has led to the ALLIANCE being one of the most recognized and original organizations in amateur sport.

For the 2019 -2020 season the Hamilton Huskies AAA will be integrating a cost-efficient set schedule that will include structured off ice training, 3 on 3 and on ice training that will include professional instruction from Kelly Reed Hockey, Pro Hockey Life Academy, and Grainger Goaltending. The Huskies AAA model will also utilize PEP (Power Edge Pro).
