The Hamilton Huskies are pleased to announce Kelly Reed and Mike Walsh to the Hamilton Huskies' Hockey Operations as members of our Development Team.

Over the next 3 months Kelly Reed will be providing specialized defenseman sessions to our young AA and AAA defensemen. We hope to expand the relationship further for the 2017-2018 season and beyond. Kelly Reed is a Huskies Alumni and an elite instructor with 15 + years of instruction experience in North American and European power skating and hockey schools. Kelly has been involved in the development of many Huskies players and alumni over the years. We are excited to have Kelly involved with the Hamilton Huskies.

In the spring of 2016 we added Mike Walsh to our team. Mike is currently coaching the Hamilton Huskies Minor Atom AAA team. In his expanded role Mike is also facilitating and leading our Novice MD Development program and mentoring and evaluating our Minor Atom through Major Peewee AA and AAA coaches. Mike has vast experience in development and coaching over his many years of involvement and has held various coaching and development positions throughout the City. Mike is trained through Hockey Canada to lead the Hockey Canada Skills Academy program at Ancaster High where he both teaches and is the Phys Ed Department Head. As well he has recently completed training and become an NCCP Coach Facilitator now delivering Coach Level 1, Coach Level 2 and D1 clinics for ALLIANCE Hockey.

As the Huskies continue their journey in being an elite hockey organization please join me in welcoming Kelly and Mike to our development team.

Yours in Hockey,

Mike Spadafora
