The Hamilton Huskies and the Hamilton Initiation Program were recently recognised as event hosts at the 2016 ALLIANCE AGM Awards Banquet.
As well Hamilton Huskies Executive member Gary McFarlane received the Award of Merit for his long time leadership roles in Coach Development and the Program of Excellence as he moves over to administration and takes on the ALLIANCE Region 1 Vice Presidents position.
Hamilton also picked up the Coach of the Year Award which was presented to Scott Weldon of the Lawfield Minor Hockey Association.
Hamilton Huskies were presented with recognition plaques for hosting the Major Bantam Face Off last September and recently taking on the big task of hosting 2 OHF Championships at once when they hosted the Atom AA and Atom AAA Championships in April. These awards were accepted by Huskies GM Mike Spadafora.
The Hamilton Initiation Program received their recognition plaque for hosting the ALLIANCE Tyke Festival in April and the award was accepted by Ross Firmin.
Presenting these awards is Dan Gibbons, ALLIANCE Hockey's incoming President.

Scott Weldon of the Lawfield Minor Hockey Association was presented with the 2016 ALLIANCE Coach of the Year Award by Lawfield's President Darryl Villeneuve
