Hamilton Huskies Support Ft. McMurray Fire Relief Efforts
Submitted By Web Admin on Sunday, May 8, 2016
The Hamilton Huskies Hockey Club announced today that they will be joining in the relief efforts to help Fort McMurray residents affected by these devastating wild fires.

"As an organization we felt strongly about helping our fellow Canadians in this difficult time" states Hamilton Huskies GM Mike Spadafora.

The Hockey Club has committed to donate $2,500.00 to the Canadian Red Cross on behalf of all its players, parents, executive, fans and supporters from our executive fund-raised contingency fund.

The Red Cross has received close to 50 million dollars in donations from across the country and all donations will be matched by the Federal Government.

"The Hamilton Huskies Family stands with all those who have been affected by this tragedy and will keep them and the fire fighters and volunteers who continue to work around the clock in our thoughts and prayers"
