Ball hockey and BBQ
The boys got together at fifty point Saturday afternoon for some positioning practice, a few ball hockey battles and a team BBQ. It was a day full of team chemistry and new friends met within the players and parents.
Not only would the Novice Green boys learn a little on where they should be and when, they also spent the better of the 5 hours playing soccer, football, baseball and don't forget the famous manhunt. It was great to see them go off as a group away from the parents and organize themselves within the different sports being played...showed us that they already know how to work as a team, just as they were doing earlier on the ball hockey rink.
Everyone seemed to be ready to take this season long journey together...it's a long season and it takes everyone from the Moms and Dads, to the group of sisters who also met new friends today. It's a TEAM game! And it was a great day for Team Green Machine and this new group of Rep families, we are all in for a ton of fun.
