99 AA RED VICTORIOUS IN IRISH CUP!
The 99 AA RED Huskies traveled as a team this past weekend by bus to South Bend, Indiana. The team went undefeated winning four straight games to win the championship in the IRISH SOUTH BEND MIDGET U16 TOURNAMENT.
The boys played with grit defeating Tecumseh 5-0, Mount Clemens 6-2 and Grand Rapids 2-1 to end up in first place advancing to the championship game. The Huskies clearly demonstrated heart and discipline in the final game when Mount Clemens came looking for revenge. The Wolves were hungry however they came up short with the Huskies showing them why hockey is truly a Canadian game!! The boys never stopped fighting to win the Irish Cup 5-4! Congratulations to the boys for a great weekend!!
