U16 AA Hamilton Huskies welcome Celina Clark
The U16 AA Hamilton Huskies are happy to finally announce the newest addition to our team staff. Celina Clark has joined our team as a certified level 1 trainer and will be helping us with so much more. Fresh off 4 years in the U.S. Women's hockey system Celina has returned home to start her career developing young and aspiring hockey players.

As a member of local hockey leagues, Celina started out in CANskate at the age of 5, unknowing at the time this was the start of her hockey career. Starting out the usual route for young girls playing hockey with the boys in Dundas she made the transition to girls hockey in Ancaster. Throughout her minor hockey career she also played for the Cambridge Roadrunners, Hamilton Hawks and St.Mary's Catholic high school team.

Girls hockey is not scouted the same way as boys hockey is so Celina needed to promote herself to the College leagues. After sending out her promotional video and bio on herself she received numerous scholarship opportunity's. In 2017 Celina joined the University of Wisconsin-Superior Yellowjackets NCAA D3 team. In her sophomore year Celina transferred to Michigan's Adrian College Bulldogs ACHA D1 team. An injury at the start of this season ended her College playing days. She remained in school to graduate and returned home recently. Celina enjoyed her time playing in the U.S. women's league and hopes to heal and recover well enough to be able to continue playing here or in Europe some day.

Celina has her career goal of teaching and developing young girls hockey players. Celina has opened Celina Clark Hockey Camp and expects it to be a successful business in our community for years to come. I brought Celina on to our team at this time because of the way she played. I had the benefit of watching Celina grow up and play throughout the years and her hard nose, grinder type of play, a player who never gave up from the drop of the puck she also never gave up on her goals and dreams. If she can rub a bit of the way she played off on our boys they will definitely benefit from having her with us heading into playoff time.

Welcome to the Hamilton Huskies Celina !!!
