The PeeWee AA Huskies were invited to participate in an anniversary exhibition game in Norwich Ontario versus the Mississauga Jets. This was the 25th year in a row that this event was being held in Norwich and the boys were treated to an NHL like experience with ceremonial puck drop and three 20 minute periods. The team struggled and went down 4-0 quickly in the first period but after a re-group in the changeroom during the flood, they made a game of it. Playing tough in the rest of the game, they were able to come close but in the end the game was won by the Jets with a score of 5-4. On the positive side, the pizza party after the game took out some of the sting from the loss.
