Novice Blue Ready to Go
It's been a tough start in the standings for the growing Novice Blue hockey team. The coach did let it be known that the start could be difficult and an uphill battle, but in his eyes the points gained by victory don't match up with the points given for effort and the passion to practice and play hard, not to mention the fun we have. Playing the tiers top teams right of the bat with this inexperienced but hungry bunch was going to be tough. However, despite being a bit over matched at times, it has only been a couple few minute breakdowns in each game that has cost the Novice Blue boys an even closer chance at the 2 points they are gaining towards.
The upcoming game Saturday against Waterloo will be another tough test. Keeping from getting down early and getting on top of the Ice Wolves will be the key for this up and coming growing hockey team. It will be a well deserved prize when the boys do pull out the W. The team chemistry among all the boys and all of their parents has been remarkable, despite the mini loosing streak. The tough start hasn't affected anyone's moral, effort or outlook on the team. We are still developing quicker as a group than we thought and the fun we have at the rink enjoying all of our new friends couldn't be better. Keep it up everyone! Let's go get two points tomorrow boys, your efforts deserve it!!
