Guelph Power Play Tournament - Silver
With equal amounts trepidation & excitement we headed up HWY 6 to the annual Guelph Power Play A Tournament.
Friday's activity had us split our games with a win over Erindale Spitfires A & a loss to Burlington Bulldogs AA. Saturday the Huskies Blue went 2-0 to set up a semi - final rematch with Guelph Gryphens A.
After a 6-3 win in the semi's it was on to meet the undefeated Burlington Bulldogs in the finals.
Although we fought hard against a very talented AA team we came up on the short end of a 4-0 score.
I could not be more proud of the Huskies Blue. Playinf all A & AA teams we responded with a 4-2 overall record & recorded 3 shutouts!!
