The Hamilton Huskies 98 AA had a very successful tournament over the Christmas Break coming home as Champions from the Vic Teal Memorial International Tournament.
Their path to the Championship game seen them tie the host team, St. Catharines Falcons, 3 -3 in their first round robin game. They followed this opening game tie by defeating Tonawanda Lightning 6 -0, Niagara Falls Canucks 4 - 0 and the Buffalo Bisons 6 - 1.
The undefeated record gave them a by to the finals where they again played the host St. Catharines Falcons this time defeating them 3 - 2 in overtime to claim the Championship.
