1st Tournament Under Their Belts With A Championship In Hand
The Minor Midget Huskies spent the past weekend in the beautiful town of Orangeville getting a great pre-season warm up at the Fall Classic AE tournament.
The Huskies handily took the first game but from there it was battle after battle. The team fought for every goal and in some cases a tie of 0-0. The checks were hard, the battles harder but they came out on top after a grueling final game against hometown host Orangeville. The tournament was well organized and ran great, the town was very welcoming to all these hockey players for sure. While the championship win is great, the staff felt the ultimate goal of a pre-season tournament was served...the players became tighter, working together better in each game and getting to know each other as a newly formed team.
