The 9AAA Huskies, who as a team have raised over $5,000 this holiday season, gave a live donation of over $3,000 to Hamilton Food Share.
On top of this the Minor Atom team donated and hand delivered 100 individually wrapped personalized gifts to children across the Hamilton area.
They were invited by CHCH News for a Morning Live appearance Monday to make the presentation to Hamilton Food Share.
Together with the
1,000lbs of non-perishables that the entire Hamilton Huskies Minor Hockey Club
collected last September on their opening day, the Huskies truly have made a
difference in the lives of many...

The gift delivery program is part of the City Kidz annual “Gift of Christmas” campaign, looking to reach out to over 4,000 children in Hamilton on its mission of increasing resiliency and inspiring big dreams for Canadian children living in low-income communities. The 9 AAA were able to make the donation thanks to the financial support from their families as well as from the Charity of Hope, a non-profit organization that provides funds to children in need in the Hamilton/Halton community, to bring them hope and joy so that they can be encouraged to create a brighter future.
