First Game of the Year
The 05 Huskies AA's played their first exhibition game of the year versus the Gryphons in Guelph. Even though the team was short handed, they put in a good effort against their opponents.
The game was very even with the Huskies outplaying the Gryphons in the first period, but then Guelph turned it around and pressed back hard in the second. The third period was even for both teams. The net result was a loss for the Huskies, but a good first game nonetheless. Lot's of things to work on including better positional play and conditioning, but its good to be back on the ice and playing as a team. Congratulations to Andreas S. for scoring the first Huskies goal in the new year.
Looking forward to the entire team being on the ice, and wishing Mason and Nate speedy recoveries.
