The 2003 AAA Huskies ring in the New Year with open hearts and boundless generosity as they achieve great success with their recent holiday fundraiser.
Together with the Charity of Hope, a non-profit organization that provides funds to children in need in the Hamilton/Halton communities, the team joined forces through self-driven initiatives and raised $5,625 for the less fortunate in their community. City Kidz, an organization whose mission is to increase resiliency and to inspire dreams in Canadian children, received hand-picked gifts for over 75 children in the Hamilton area, which were delivered in person by our Huskies. Hamilton Food Share, on the other hand, aims to diminish hunger and will receive over $4,300 from the team which, once converted, equates to over $21,000 in value toward providing the hungry in the community with access to adequate, safe and appropriate food choices.
